The Hi-Performance Snare Bottom is a crystal clear, ultra-thin (3mil) single ply snare side drumhead with an added strip of protective material that is positioned under the head where the ends of the snares rest. The snare safety strips help to prevent head tears due to broken snare wires. Aquarian’s “Sound Curve” collar design allows the bearing edge to find its own spot in the curve and helps make snare drum tuning fast and easy.

The American Vintage Snare Bottom is a crystal clear, ultra-thin (3mil) single ply snare side drumhead. The hoop is made just slightly larger so that this head can accomodate those older snare drums that may not fit easily in contemporary drumhead models. The Aquarian Z-100 coating is one of the thinnest and most durable coatings we have ever developed. Unlike conventional coatings, it resists chipping, and it lasts and lasts and lasts! Aquarian “Safe-T-Loc” hoop, combined with our “Sound Curve” collar design provides for easy tuning, great stick response and zero slippage inside the hoop. Aquarian’s Texture Coated heads offer consistent tone, increased resonance, and the sensitive response that drummers expect from a traditional sounding single ply drumhead.

The Hi-Energy snare drum batter is a clear, 10mil, single-ply drumhead with an extremely thin layer of proprietary Power Dot™ material “bonded” to the entire surface of the head. The center of the head is then reinforced with an additional small Power Dot™. Designed for heavy hitters who want a powerful sound and durability, the HE snare drum batter is also suitable for general purpose playing and responds with clarity and sensitivity to even the lightest strokes.
